A Double Nomination for Rachael & Rhian

The Welsh Women Mean Business Awards were created in 2010 by husband and wife team Sarah & Ben Cornelius-Price. Sarah, a former winner of the Western Mail’s “ Welsh Woman of the Year” in 2003, felt that when these awards ceased, there was a real need to ensure the celebration of women’s achievements continued in Wales. Ben Cornelius-Price, co-founder said, “ These awards are all about recognising achievement and celebrating the impact these women have as driving forces in business.”

The WWMB awards are open to females who work in a variety of industries, from Law to Hairdressing. Women must be Welsh based, born or educated, and must be the driving force behind the company. The awards are for their 3rd year sponsored by

The organisers say that applicants and nominees for the 2013 Awards have been of a very high standard.

The winners from the 11 categories will be announced at a ceremony on March 8th 2013 at the Vale Resort in the Vale of Glamorgan. So we’ll know then if Rachael and Rhian have won their categories, and also if one of them has won the overall award of ‘Welsh Women Mean Business Woman of the Year’.
