The NHS Wales Awards have been celebrating the hard work and innovation of healthcare workers in Wales since 2007. The event showcases best practice across health boards and offers a chance to collaborate to strive for a healthier Wales.
For the launch of the 2019 Awards, we worked with the Awards team and digital advertising specialists, Crunch Simply Digital, to develop a compelling social media campaign to boost the number of entries from NHS staff in Wales. Combining video, design and copy, we provided the creative assets to help ensure the campaign met its goal of increasing entries by 25%.
By sitting down with the Awards team, we were able to glean first-hand understanding of the modesty of NHS Wales staff and how the Awards represented a chance to celebrate and inspire better ways of working.
Our key messaging had to encourage people to recognise their achievements and enter the awards. By including past case studies, category explainers and language used by the Awards team, we developed a suite of materials that would connect, convince and convert the audience across three platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
In the first 3 weeks of the campaign, we achieved over 130,000 impressions and over 20,000 post engagements, with a CTA of 1.03%. With the campaign set to last for 10 weeks, we are excited to see how many entries have been secured and are confident of boosting entries by 25%.
