2018 has been a year of change for Waters and we’re excited to introduce you to the new faces on our team.

New hires.

Some of you will already know that we’ve said farewell to some longstanding Waters team members. Leah, Rhianna and Sophie have all left for pastures new and while it’s sad to see them go, we wish them all the very best in their new adventures.

This means we have a few new faces in the office and we’re super excited to have them on board.

Mike Leach – Creative Lead

Mike has been working closely with us since October 2017 when his company, Mike Leach Creative, started working out of our Axis Court studio. We hit it off so well that Mike joined Waters officially in July 2018 as Creative Lead and Director. Mike brings with him years’ of experience in design for both print and web, as well as an expert eye for all things branding. Having someone with Mike’s expertise on the team is a huge privilege and we look forward to sharing his insights with our clients going forward.

Jon Griffiths – Graphic Designer

Jon joined Waters in May 2018 following a 7-year stint as a Design/Print Manager in New Zealand. Having returned to Swansea with a unique perspective on design and a whole heap of ideas, Jon has hit the ground running working on a number of branding projects in his short time here. A branding obsessive with over 10 years’ design experience, he is already making big contributions to the way we work and playing an important role with our clients.

Beverley Logan – Client Account Manager

Bev has been a good friend of Waters for a number of years, so when our paths aligned in August 2018 we jumped at the chance to bring her on board to liaise with our clients and keep things running smoothly. With vast experience in client management and an enviable background in design and marketing, Bev has the exact skillset and upbeat outlook that we need to lead our clients’ ideas all the way from brief to delivery. Arriving with a mountain of cake and pastries was a great way to break the ice too.

Nadeea Miah – Artworker

Nadeea graduated from the University of South Wales in 2018 and is joining us on a three-month internship. Having already learned the essentials of design, we’re looking forward to getting Nadeea involved in all things Waters and helping her make the transition into agency life. We can’t wait to see what new ideas she brings to the table as she works with our team to keep delivering top-end designs to our clients.

So, just a few changes.

With everyone already settled in alongside our existing team, we are in a strong position for the future… and very excited about it we are, too! Our team has the right balance of creativity and structure which enables us to continue helping our clients make meaningful connections with their audiences.

So, what does all this change mean for us? In some ways, not a lot – we still share the same collective values and thirst for creativity that keeps our clients at the heart of everything we do; but in other ways, it’s a new chapter in the Waters story with brand new characters.

Here’s to the writing the next one.
