Client: Celebrating ground-breaking collaboration in South West Wales Print / Web

REAL WORLD CHALLENGE

ARCH (A Regional Collaboration for Health) is a visionary programme that aims to transform healthcare within the South West Wales region.

A unique collaboration between Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board, Hywel Dda University Board and Swansea University, ARCH spans six local authority areas: Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.

The three organisations are working together to create a 21st century healthcare system while driving investment and up-skilling the local community to help deliver innovation that will meet the healthcare needs of the population both now and in the future.

To help promote collaboration within the wider region, ARCH needed a website and marketing collateral that helped deliver their message in a way that matched their drive and ambition. As well as being cutting-edge, it needed to be accessible to demonstrate a clear desire for collaboration.

REAL WORLD IDEA

Working closely with the ARCH team, we got to know the ins-and-outs of the project, allowing us to build a website that helped them convey their message clearly and in line with their aims.

Collaboration is not just something ARCH seeks to promote – it is something they live, as their team proved to us when we created the visuals that would eventually become their website.

This extended to presentations and printed materials, which helped promote the project offline in a way that maintained the look and feel of the overall brand.

REAL WORLD IDEA

The ARCH website is fully-responsive and bilingual, enabling it to be accessed by a wide audience while promoting the main theme of collaboration. It was built using the WATERS Content Management System (WCMS), enabling the ARCH team to take full control of the content on the website, including individual pages and news updates. WCMS keeps the site flexible, allowing innovation and growth to be incorporated into the site as and when it happens.

The site has grown alongside ARCH, with the ARCH-I microsite featuring news updates, resources and a forum. The microsite helps realise ARCH’s desire for true collaboration by empowering users and inviting them to get involved in the conversation.

RESULTS

With the Swansea Bay City Region deal being signed off in March 2017, the future is certainly looking bright for ARCH.

As the development moves forward and funding secured, the team can adapt their website to maintain and promote their message while deliver innovation that will benefit the region as a whole.

“WATERS have been fantastic. They have been able to bring to life a complex, multi-faceted concept and make it not only good to look at but easy to understand through the website. They have developed something that we’re all proud of and super excited to start promoting across the board now.”
